And then you dive and it gets even better! Sure, it's cold up here in Spokane. In fact, my LDS canceled our ice diving class last Sunday because they said it was too cold. Too cold for Ice Diving??? (-20F wind chill). Now THATS cold! Yesterday's high was 1F, and I haven't been diving in 6 days (my longest dry spell since June). But Saturday it's gonna' be a balmy 35F
and the dive is on!
Life is sooooooooooooooooooooooo good!
If you're reading this then you have electricity.
And a computer to use.
And you have the ability to dive.

It doesn't get much better than that...

Unfortunately for some of us poor folk, we don't have dry suits to go diving with. And I think, you'll agree, going with a wetsuit in "winter-type" weather is pure insanity. Wouldn't you agree?

Is a beautiful night here, big full moon, clear skies and pretty mild, supposed to be on a night dive but was cancelled due to unforseen circumstances. Cant complain too much though, spent all of Saturday and Sunday in the water. Keeps me sane looking forward to my next dive.

Wise words from Yoda - although there still are people diving in their 7mm - its just too cold for me... I wish I could be heading to Bonaire! Have a good trip dvleemin!!!

I don't know, I dove the Skykomish river tonight with a guy in a wetsuit. 34 deg water temps, 3 inches of new snow, 30ish outside. We made 35ffw for 10mins until both our regs started freezing up and free flowing a little. But this wetsuit guy seemed fairly sane, you know for a guy that goes out to a river access after dark in the worst snow storm to hit Seattle in 6 years.... :silly:

You're right - life can't get much better. Heading to Bonaire on Friday for 20 days :)

Darryl

Ahhhh....Shut up... I wish I was in Bonaire, or anywhere warm for that matter, right now.
Enjoy it. PLease dive on the Hooker for me... Thanks.

Yup - we always dive the hooker a couple of times. Will hopefully do a few east coast dives as well.
