I'm considering buying a SeaQuest Libra BC. I like the fit and features but have one concern. A gal at my LDS said that the shoulder straps on her Libra loosen during the dive and she has to constantly re-adjust them - sometimes more than a dozen times during a single dive. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this sort of problem with their Libra?

One of my female dive buddies has the Libra and loves it. She has had absolutely no problems with it. I personally have the Balance and really like it as well. Maybe your local dive shop could allay any reservations you might have.

Good luck!

I just got back from a dive trip with my new Libra. I have no problems to report. I logged 10 or so dives. I'm very happy with my purchase!! You almost don't even notice it there!

Lisa,

There was earlier post about shoulder straps slipping. I'm not sure if it was a Libra but you may want to check in case there was a reason &/or solution to the problem the one person was having.

I have the Libra and love it. I haven't had any problems with the shoulder straps coming loose during a dive.

There was a thread about straps on a Ladyhawk slipping - one way found around it was to thread the buckles backwards somehow.

I just got a Libra and absolutely love it. I have had no problems whatsoever.
