Amphibious, have you an original thought in your head, or are you just a parrot? How in the heck can Naui keep you as an instructor? I mean, you recommend all the trendy, goofy or dangerous stuff that can really jack up a diver. We all see the "champions" ballyhooed in the media, the kind with non release weight belts and no CO2 vest, no vest, period. Appallingly irresponsible that you should recently have told a novice diver (and whomever) to emulate this stuff. Every year, I see or hear of some of these guys from Hawaii, Europe and the western US drowning, is that a good example for all?

800-1200lb Spectra wishbones last as long as my bands, about 2 seasons.

Whoa! where the **** did that come from?

grow up and take a look outside of your small pool of divers. I assure you, your viewa represent but an ignorant minority.

remember, if you had your way professional freedivers & spearos would all be using AB Biller guns, bulky, non-hydrodynamic "UDT" vests. and wearing MARES AVANTIS.

Please go tell the various world record holding spearfisherman out there that their Euroguns or non-cable wishbones are garbage. Martin Stepanek or Carlos Coste, maybe Tanya Streeter that their long fins are crap because ScubaLab said so, and they should switch to Avantis.

most freedive drownings are a result of shallow water blackout. it has no warning signs or symptoms. a vest or quickrelease belt will not help you. (maybe you should educate yourself a little more?) the only way to prevent it is to dive within your limits and alternate dives with a buddy. these people that drowned, in your world of UDT vests and quickrelease belts, would have most likely still drowned, albeit wearing a cumbersome vest and a snazzy belt.

do you really belive this stuff? or do you just like to cause ****?
