I am somewhat new to diving. I moved to Kentucky about 6 months ago. What dives locally would you recommend to a new diver? I've got a new job so it keeps me from doing anything but weekend trips.

Salutations, Greetings, Welcome!

It depends on where you are located in Kentucky. We have a few good diving spots located in our state and some more in Indiana, Ohio, Illinois and Tennesee all within a weekend or daily trip!

Btw, name, rank, serial number?

Ah heck, name and location will work for us!

Hi ya! Welcome! Like Landlocked said, there are several local dive sites around the region. Some may be closer, some may be further. A lot of divers are up in the Louisville/ Lexington Cincinnati area. I'm a bit further South West & tend to do most of my diving at the Hopkinsville, KY quarry. I do try o make at least 1 trip a year up to the Louisville area, if I can. If you can clue us into your location a bit more we can give you a better idea of what may be within a reasonable driving distance. It's pleasure to meet your acquaintance. Once a gain,... Welcome!

Welcome! Keep your eyes out here, things will start happening again pretty soon.

Depending on where you live there are lots of weekend opportunities.
