My dive partner and I are very new to diving but we were fortunate enough to catch a pack of Leopard sharks on video; this was my first time video taping in the ocean.

It was on a Sunday and as we entered Lover's point we started filming as you can see from my encounter with the harbor seal.

On our way back to the shore my dive buddy got my attention and signaled with his hand, the sign for shark. I didn't now what the sign was and was puzzled. As I fixate my eyes forward I see two large leopard sharks cruise past me.

I immediately got chills in my spine and raised my camera and shoot one picture, you can barely see them in the background but they are there, two of them.

As quickly as I take the picture I change to video mode and begin filming. You need to pay close attention to the video since they are in the distance. You will see the first shark dart away from me.

Then as I start to pan around with my video camera I catch the second shark much larger than the first one glide across my field of view, sorry for shaking the camera but it was a natural reaction.

As we got out of the water at shore, many parents panicked and pulled out their children that were bathing just along side us.

As we went up to change our tanks and go back in for more filming, everyone at the beach had gathered from shore to view them as they swam in 4 feet of water, hunting in what appeared to be some type of coordinated attacks around the rocks.

Well, not bad for just my 11th dive, getting to see these awesome predators in their natural environment is something I will never forget.
