Dee, could you put that pic up again?

Which pic? This link to Backscatter is still good and it has a photo of the lens cover there. But this is a shot of it on my rig about a year ago....I use a different tray and strobe now.

Dee, thanks. The day I requested your pic the link didn't work so I thought it was too old. I did see it. Thanks. I had actually gone with Chrisc's suggestion. It fits perfect and was a bit cheaper when you compared the cost with shipping. However, I may switch to this one if I get tired the extra seconds a screw on could take compared to a slip on.

Yeah, the shipping from BS will kill ya! That's one reason I don't have another one. I tried the screw on filter for awhile but it was just too much glass between the camera and my WA lens. The black cap or even a Koozie is so much easier for protecting the lens port. One of the biggest way lens ports get damaged is in rinse tanks on a boat. I never use them. I'll dunk my rig to rinse off the salt water but then I keep it wrapped in a wet towel out of the sun.

Funny story....my husband left his video camera on in the rinse tank by mistake. After watching that 15min. clip and seeing what actually happens in a rinse tank was proof enough for me!

The black vinyl one from backscatter looks like a cover for a bearing buddy (which is a cover for the bearing on a boat trailer.)
