Lend me your Comal Knowledge....

Hey Swampers... I would like to get your advice on where would be the best place to tent camp preferably on on near the Comal. I'm looking for a good spot to spend a couple of days of diving and shooting underwater video. The only requirement would be that the location have some hot showers....

Most everyone goes to Landa Park.

Divers typically reserve sites 11-14 (riverfront, upstream). Stay away from the railroad tracks... they can be somewhat noisy at night.

We've stayed at Landa, and it's nice down there on the river, and there is a bathhouse with hot showers. Even with hookups, the site rates are reasonable, especially in the off-season. Have fun!

Landa Park was built on some hardarse ground so bring an air mattress if you are tent camping. Or don't say I didn't tell you so...
