Is there any talk, interest, possibility of DR selling the LED 700 light head as a DIY component only such as Nocturnal lights do with their canister light head? If so, would this be available through your dealers?

Steve

Hi Steve,

Depending on your application (tell me more) you may want our LED Flashlight. Our LED LUX (the LED 700 is discontinued) Canister Light is not set up to sell the light head separately, but it is available.

A brief glance of Nocturnal's website shows complete light systems, not modular, but point me in the direction to what you are referring to and I can offer better assistance.

Thanks,
Kathleen

Kathleen, I am making a DIY canister light. I have built a watertight canister and converted a MAG light but I want to install LED lighting but I don't have the skills to wire it with the LED. With the recent conversion to the LUX I was wondering if you still had the LED 700 heads on the shelf that you could sell me to attach to my existing canister. Here is the link to what I was talking about from Nocturnal. I would go with this but I want LED.

TL50 Light head assembly for DIY Projects. The full assembly contains the light head, handle, power cord, and the on-off switch with a switch lock. Compatible with accessories such as the neoprene hand mount and photo/video diffuser and handle adapte

Thanks,
Steve
