I do have a mustache. When I dive, I shave it off about halfway down from my septum.

I always have a little water in my nose pocket. TNot really bad, just a bit annoying. he rest of the mask is dry.

Is this a bad fitting mask, or due to the remaining mustache?
 
or does it just retain the rinse water from defogging?

If you have a leak it will continue to fill requiring consistant clearing if there is just a small amount collecting and staying it may be just all the small droplets comming together.

If you have a leak take your mask to the mirror and put it on then put your snorkle or a mouth piece in your mouth and note the change in your face. Look for smile line appearing or the lip pushing up and creating small gaps.
