V-Weight –12lb. The weight is in the rough form, this means is the sides are rough finish. You can clean it up with a scotch brite pad or just leave them the way they are. The bolt holes might need to be widened a little bit if you are using thicker nuts. All these items are easy modifications that take just a few minutes. It is perfectly useable the way it arrives for most setups. I personally recommend leaving the finish the way it is. It is lead so anytime it gets dropped it is going to get dinged so why put any extra effort out.
