I have about 30 pounds of pure lead that I was planning to make my own weights from but have recently decided I just don't have the time. Since there's no classifieds section in the DIY forums I'm just listing it here. If that's inappropriate please point me to the right place.

I'm hoping for someone semi-local that might want to use this stuff. I'm not looking for a ton of money from this, so I'm thinking about a barter of sorts or maybe $1 a pound.

I'm open to options both on price and shipping if it's not ridiculously prohibitive to ship.

I have some jetfins... Is there anything specific you are looking for? If so, PM me.

Problem with lead is that it is somewhat heavy and expensive to ship.

You might try Craigslist for an selling an item like that.
It only lists for your localized area.

You could likely get more for it locally,
and/or give someone a better deal.

On here, there are people that will have
to pay in shipping nearly what it is worth retail.

Although Jet fins are pretty cool.

Just an FYI. If you use USPS flate rate medium box you can get a lot of lead in it for 11 bucks shipping anywhere in the US. Mailman might cuss you out but hey, it;s a great deal.

To anyone still interested in this, I was specifically thinking 30 pounds of lead for a couple of 4 pound weights or something like that, but I'm open to other options. I had some interested parties PM me but nothing has ever come of that. I don't mind shipping as I can ship flat rate but I'd prefer someone semi-local, as I said.
