Thanks everyone for all of the information. I am still very up in the air about the whole situation. The only reason I am trying to stick with ScubaPro for regs is due to their long-lasting stellar reputation. I do not plan on buying new gear for quite a number of years, so I am trying to buy the top stuff now. Relatives and friends I have that are instructors swear by ScubaPro regs and Seaquest or Diverite BCs and BP/Wings. Thanks again.

Your regulator selection is a great reg ....

I would alwasy prefer to buy from a local shop...but yours is a difficult situation. I have both warrantied scubapro stuff and stuff from Leasurepro... so I get to see the repair cost difference..

Given your location, I would get the Leasurepro reg..and be very careful to get the best BC you can, while still saving as much as you can..
