I am working in an article for ScubaGadget. I need to get some feedback from dive shop staff/owners who are associated with shops in the West located near a Sports Chalet store. Please tell me how having a large chain that sells scuba in your area effected your business? Does it help (e.g. create more divers) or hurt by stealing business? If another water sports oriented chain were to add scuba to its line would you feel this was good for your business or bad?
p.s. Does anyone know if the new owners of Sports Chalet are going change their current scuba sales model?
