Can anyone help? Yesterday while taking macro the settings were 1/125, f22, focus light and closeup lens.
The image in my lcd screen was pitch black. I either had to lock the photo in or adjust the settings.
Am I doing something wrong?
Any tips?
Thnx

Try live view boost.... this will automatically adjust the brightness of the display if needed.

Thank You.

That's how it works - it's correct. It shows you the image the sensor is seeing, without flash. Why? Who knows? Maybe the designers thought it would be a good way to show you the effect of actual exposure and depth of field in M mode. I'm guessing. It's not very useful in the dim lighting underwater.

If you use A or S mode, you see a bright image during focus. Try boost if that's too dark. Or use a video light!
