Thinking about doing a beach dive tuesday getting in around 6PM. If conditions warrent may go back for a night dive. Anyone interested????

Steve,

Planning to be there with a friend at 6PM for a 6:30 latest in. That should bring us back in just about sunset. I'll have an extra tank in case we're up for a night dive right after. Meet at the usual spot.

Steve,

Friend has been out of the water for a long time. Don't want to start her with a night dive.

I'm on call this week & cannot dive but it'll be great to see you, Renee!

On call ....... HMPH! .... Weah! ... (pout)

If I'm there, I'm wet.
Don't hold up on me.

I wanna go! Iwanna go!

(but can't) :sulk:

Trip report

Trip report for you all....

First of all - Thank Goodness I decided to take a friend up on a morning dive since she could not make the evening! Flat seas, zero current (picked up slightly by the time we turned around but minimal), decent vis and comfortable temps.

Cruising over the first reef we encountered this interesting sight...

Which turned over - gave us a "don't bother me!" look and went back to what it was doing. View attachment 32604 (Although our interruption allowed it's dinner to get away! Talk about getting dirty looks!!)

It was a gorgeous morning! View attachment 32605, View attachment 32606, View attachment 32607

Now the afternoon......
Another friend wants to get back into diving after a ten year absence. Good effort but she will be spending time in my swimming pool!! Thanks for you patience Steve! I did get a good workout and frankly the seas were choppy, vis was lousy and there was a pretty good north current. So you didn't miss a lot.

Oh well - an opportunity to work on my instructor skills and practice my tired diver tow techniques! Always a silver lining.
