Last Call for July 16 - Millbrook - Buddy Needed

At the expense of overdoing it (I posted this request last week) I'm still trying to find a buddy for tomorrow (my only free day, Saturday, July 16) at Millbrook.

I am still new to the area and don't know many divers. If you want to hook up for two dives dives, starting about 9 AM, then please contact me soonest.

I know that this does not fit your request exactly, and perhaps you already know about this trip.

There will be a fairly large group of divers at Lake Rawlings (about an hour south of Richmond) on Saturday the 16th. There is a thread already running with details of the trip. You are welcome to join us, there will be many divers there ranging from newly minted to extremely experienced. The group will most certainly have many divers that have never been diving with anybody else in the group before, so as a newcomer to the group you would be welcomed with open arms.

Your profile indicates that you live in the Dale City / Manassas area so Lake Rawlings is certainly farther away, but perhaps you will be able to join us.

If you do decide to join us there will be many divers around the area, just keep asking for the "NC Wreck Divers" or "ScubaBoard" group. Lake Rawlings has grade E compressed air available and any gear you may need, although I am guessing that you probably have that.

Hey, good to meet you. I am recently back in DC after living in Australia - coincidentaly, that is where I picked up diving. Anyway, I am short a local dive buddy as well, and while I cannot make Saturday, we could probably put something together for another time out at Millbrook. I am living in Arlington and working next to Dulles Airport, so not too far away for a dive.

HI, thanks for the note. I'm free again a week from Saturday. I like to do two tank dives. Have you been to Millbrook yet? I did manage to find someone to dive with last Saturday (I went there anyway and just asked around until I found someone).
