I haven't seen him here in a few weeks, but PM Lake Mead Tony. He lives in Vegas and might know an independent instructor in the area that he can refer your friend to. I've been to a few shops in the area but haven't been too impressed with what I've seen there. Other than Tony, I don't know anyone else from that area that frequents the Board.

Desert Divers have always been good to everyone (~10 people) I have ever sent there, including myself. But I have sent anyone there in a few years, so things might have changed...
