Large Dive Training Facilities?

Hi, I was wondering about the larger training facilities for the classroom portions of diving. I'm a PADI Master Diver and was interested in the Divemaster program heading towards Course Director. A DM at my local dive shop mentioned larger facilities for classroom portions of the work. I was wondering how that all works. I live in Wisconsin and classroom scheduling can be painful. They just don't seem to have the staff and they always want at least 4 per class so it's about 1 to 2 weeks just to get one class in.

I was told that California and Florida have some facilities like this and I was wondering if anyone has experience with them? How exactly does it work?
