Looking at options for diving in December. 2 couples living in the Los Angeles area. My wife wants to bring our two dogs (black lab and american fox hound) so I was thinking of Lareto. I have heard they have some GREAT scalloped hammerhead schools in that area in December.

Question is, what kind of diving is there in Dec? Would a 7mm suit be needed? Also, would the dogs have no problems there (eg hotels/townhome rentals allowing them)?
