Landbased dive resort for big fish

Hello,

We are going to Indonesia in early-mid September for 2,5 weeks. We will spend around 7-9 days in Komodo and would like to spend the remaining days at a landbased resort with a housereef, nice diving spots and if possible beaches with white sand. We are more into big fishes like sharks, mantas, whale sharks etc.

Is there any place in indonesia which would meet these criterias? Best thing would be that it is reachable by plane from bali/jakarta within 3-4 hours (plane and speedboat?)

Alor, check out Alor Divers - Intimate beach resort on Pantar island, Alor archipelago.
Chances of hammerheads around full moon, sometimes Mola mola or threshers (even blue whales but later in the season)

Every kind of site is available.
Depends on whether you want to see big fish or not. As Mick Jagger says : you can't always get what you want.
