We are going out to Rawlings this upcoming Sunday (4/10/11). If anyone would like to join us please send me a PM or reply to this post. We plan on being out there early and staying for the day. We will be bringing something to cook with, along with a b-day cake and food. It is my daughters 13th b-day. So please stop by introduced your self, pull up a chair and have some cake. If we get some interest, we can even have a small cook out for lunch!

You will know us by our silly hoods.

Have fun & Happy B-day to your daughter, can't make it out there, still trying to get the "Under Pressure" ready for the dive season.

Thanks Rad!!! Hope to see you and Andy soon.

Ok, I will bite, what is Under Pressure??

Best dive boat in the area, Capt JT's Wreck Diving Site - Diving Hatteras NC and Virginia Beach VA

We run out of Va. Beach in May, then go to Hatteras from Memorial Day to Labor Day, then back to Va. Beach for September until the weather Gods tell us it's time to pull her & make her ready for the next year.

JT installed a diver lift this year, no more Carolina Ladder rides for us. Customers get to stay on board the night before for free, has a KILLER AC, flat screen TV, sleeps 8+ with an enclosed cabin & cleanest head around, his GF insists on that. She is also a NAUI instructor & is on board most weekends in Hatteras.

Lets here more about that lift??
Eric

Well it will be the 1st one in the US, we have put over 450lbs on it & it lifts without a hitch.
All Alum, designed & built by JT. Used pictures from ops in Europe who use them, JT made lots of upgrades & built it better than need be to do the job.
We will have you on the boat faster, safer & with less effort than any trip up the ladder.
I've tried to post pictures, but can't get them from Facebook over here.
Check out JT Barkers page on Facebook for some pictures.

You mean I can dive doubles, sit on a lift and get raised into the boat. Sounds like I need a trip to Hatteras!!

I guess you could sit on it, but then standing up once out of the water would be tough. Try sitting on your floor in kit & try it. I can do it in my double 108s, but would prefer not to.
We are planning on divers swimming to the platform, getting vertical while holding onto 1 of the several different hand rails & lifting you while standing.
Once up, a step inside the boat, we remove your fins & walk you to the large seating platforms
& yes doubles, stages, cameras, scooters, will all fit & come up at once.

Wow. I've been recovering from a case of quadriceps tendinitis and so have been doffing my rig in the water and handing it up (single tank rig in tropical water though). This way sounds pretty sweet :)
