Hi All,
The lake is my front yard. Looking for sites to either snorkel (experienced) or dive (novice) along the Webster shoreline. Suggestions and advice needed!

Kristi- I don't know about lake Ontario's southern shore, but there's excellent diving in the 1,000 Isalnds area at the east end of the lake, where it drains into the St. Lawrence River. Of particular note, the water temp there is much higher than the rest of the Lake, because an underwater shelf skims warm water from the surface, while holding back the colder deeper water.

There are a few good ops on the Canadian side, near Kingston. You can try this link to some of them & I'm sure they'll help you out. Adventurers Dive Log: Scuba Diving Shipwrecks in Kingston Ontario Canada, Wreck Diving

Let me know if you find anything closer to home, maybe I'll make the drive from NYC.
