Ok... so I am going to be in Ottawa around the 16 to 18th of August. I live down in Massachusetts and dive Cape Ann all the time but I was raised in Ontario and I keep hearing how great the diving is at the Kingston end of the lake. Never dived the lake and REALLY want to. I am advanced certified but that doesn't mean I have to go deep but I like to... I just want 2 or 3 great dives in a half day. I have all my own equipment. I have a lot of friends in Mass that have no idea about the diving in the Great Lakes. I just know from 'word of mouth' it is great. I guess I am looking at scoping it out and then setting up some larger groups for next season. I still have family up here so I am up here 3 or four times a year. Can someone direct me to a quality outfit that I could do my first dives out of Kingston/Picton area with? Also, does anyone know if there are any concerns about using Nitrox on my first dive and therefore crossing the border with the tank filled? Lastly, my family is in the Hamilton area...is there anywhere to dive around there that is decent?

If you would prefer to email me... send to lwbrewer@charter.net with the subject line Lake Ontario Diving

Thank you in advance,

Webb Brewer
