The diving went great. I went to Cabinsite cove. I found the bus, van, scuba steve with treasure chest and all and a set of pvc diamonds set up at different depths on a steep incline for buoyancy control. I never found the boats but i did find a line from the bus leading to about 65 feet but it stopped at a stake. I assumed someone dragged their anchor over it.
I dove in trunks, rash guard, gloves and booties and it was great. There was nobody in the cove on friday, but saturday I saw a total of 11 divers. Some were in a class, but i was real suprised on the amount of divers.
There was very little life compared to what I'm used to but I did see a few 5-7 pound catfish and carp, alot of blue gill and some small mouth bass. Good times!

Awesome description!!! I'm glad there is a positive side with enthusiasm about a dive spot that might not be equal to what's known as our marine diving!! I'm marking LM on my dive plans because of your description!! And also my interest to dive new sites!! Every and any kind!

To find the boat at cabin site enter the water on the north side of the point and follow the channel out, you will run right into it. It is on the opposite side of the van, bus.
