LABRADORCOASTER

Wow ! what a site. Don't know where to start reading. My dive season is nearing it's end as the ocean will soon be frozen, it will give me time to delve deeper into your site. I've been solo diving here for about thirty years, just not many other divers in the region.
Have been doing mostly commerical work the past 10-15 yrs, Inspections, salvage, boat repairs, small construction projects etc.
Consider myself an fairly ''experienced'' diver but kind of out of the loop as far as being up on the latest equipment, technologies etc...
This region is actually located in Québec but was known for many years as ''The Forgotton Labrador. It is isolated but has a huge unexplored coastline. From the Straits of Belle isle to Québec city this Gulf was the main highway for a lot of ships. As there were so few people living here many of these shipwrecks are still unknown and undiscovered.
I have a 43' Northumberland Strait Lobster boat, set up for diving/cruising. All I need is the time to go searching.
Hope to be able to learn some things, contribute perhaps, and get to know some of you.
all the best,
Wilson
