How was the VIS, lots of divers?

The boat was full :(. We had like 29 or so divers on the Magician. We went to Goat Harbor, Rock Quarry, and Eel Reef. The viz at Goat was good above 50 but below 50 it turned to junk. The Giant Black Sea Bass were out but deeper. At Rock Quarry the viz was really good. I would say 30-40 feet. The water was actually nice and blue.

At Eel Cove the viz started to turn as the current picked up. Did see a few bat rays out there.

I use a Canon 7d. My macro lens is a Tamron 60mm f2.

I saw that the Magician was sold out for labor day. Sounds like you had a good day overall.
Last time I was on the Magician we did the same 3 spots with rock quarry/crane being the best site.
Eel cove not so good.
