La Parguera - Victor / Roxanna (Blue Water)

Hi all -

Planning a trip to Puerto Rico in December and noticed a lot of reviews re: Victor and Roxanna. I love diving, but get anxious before dives so finding a great Dive Master / Dive company is very important so I researched things further and glad to have found Roxanna and Victor!

I have traded emails with Roxanna and she confirmed that they are once again based in LaParguera (an issue raised by a previous post) and in November, will be able to offer a Nitrox course through Padi when their Parguera shop gets PADI certified.

I will post a report after my trip, but google Blue Water Parguera to find the website -- I hope they're as good as the reviews!

Will be looking forward to your report. We have been dying to get back to PR, especially La Parguera, but the turmoil in dive ops has been frustrating. It's a long trip down there (regardless of whether you measure that from Texas or San Juan airport), and to have some questions on the availability and reliability of a dive shop makes it hard to justify the time and expense.

We were dove the wall last week with island scuba. We also called paradise and west divers, but they didn't have any dives scheduled.

Sorry to say Blue Water is closed and their gear moved to Ponce.......
