Just a big thumbs up for making a tough digital camera. I have an olympus stylus 410 that I have had some time, got a housing for it so I could shoot underwater with it last year. While not the 'perfect' u/w point and shoot, it worked fine.

On last weekends camp/dive event I set it on top of soft sided cooler packing up, not in uw housing, and it fell into unzipped opening into ice water and sat there at least 3-4 hours before I removed it. I removed xd card and battery and opened front slider cover and let sit for several days before charging battery and checking card, battery was ok, card ok, put camera in dry bag with some dessicant packs and let sit several more days, powered up 1 week after immersion event and everything is working fine.

Thanks for making a great product that has given me nothing but excellent service.

Yes, as my instructor put it way back when, the first time I flooded my camera: "Salt water and electronics don't mix."

FWIW, I'll be going back to that diving resort on Monday.
With insurance.
And six years of experience preventing flooding—except once.
