Hi all,
New to the board, just getting into diving.

A bit about me, I'm from Adelaide, South Australia. Allways wanted to get into diving, but..
saw Jaws when I was five, and knowing it was filmed just a little too close to my home town made me twitchy :11:

Been living in Japan for 5 years now, my company did an employee holiday to saipan, saw the pics of the grotto and I just had to sign up for lessons :D

Just your average salaryman in Japan, I work for a Japanese company, senior programmer. Live 15 mins to the geek mecca of Akihabara.

I eat to much, smoke to much, drink to much, don't get enough exercise - all the usual for a salaryman here ;)

I am particulary interested in underwater photography (and video later when I can afford it)

anyways, greets, don't beat me up too much, oh and...

Yoroshiku onegaishimase.

That dumb movie Jaws affected a lot of people. When the author learned more about sharks, he regretted writing it. Hope you enjoy your new sport, and ScubaBoard.com - your new place to hang out.

I've hacking away at photography some, still wishing I knew what I was doing. I used the same amateur digi cam recently to make 400 still shots and then this video here if you'd like to look. Anyway, you can try video this way at first, if you'd like.

:cowboy: don

I shall make the appropriate post when i get it all done. :)

PS, the vid was cool

Welcome to the board. A shark sighting while diving is an awesome thing. I got a chance to see a 8-10' Bull shark, and two 4-6' reef sharks. All on one dive.
