Kona Dive Buddies

My wife and I will be in Kona Dec. 26-Jan. 5, we'll be diving 2-step, the Bathtub (conditions permitting) any other shore dive sites local folks like? We'll also do a Manta charter because it's so fun. PM me if you would like to go diving with us.

Hey Mike,
I'm going to be in Kona 12/23-27. I'm visiting a friend who lives on the Big Hawaii but doesn't dive, so I was planning to do a day of diving on my own but haven't begun to research my options. I'd love to consider diving with you and your wife. Only thing: Since this isn't a dive trip per se for me, I'm only bringing mask/fins/regs/computer and was planning to rent the rest. I'm an experienced diver (650 dives, maybe) and have dived the main Hawaiian islands a few times each but have yet to do the Manta dive. I will be in Kona effectively the 20th thru the 26th. We have a wedding to attend the 21st. I am a beginner. Only a few dives. Shipping most of my gear over accept weights and tanks. I too was interested in some shore diving and have been meaning to check out dive shop equipment rental. I'd be interested in joining others. Curt
