Hello
Got the chance of a cabin later this year. We did RA on Mermaid I and had a fantastic time, so I have no qualms about the boat.:D My main concern that it is 2 days shorter than the Mermaid I Komodo trip, so I want to make sure that we won't miss out on anything major....
Thanks

My first post was brief as I had to get the Basil picked whilst it was cool.
Mermaid II does go all the way south so you get to dive Manta Alley- we did 2 dives there each year, and they also go to Cannibal Rock, which is epic. I could dive Horseshoe bay for a week
before I tired of it. They also dive Torpedo Alley there which is a great muck site. That's the one thing I love about the Bali-Komodo-Bali trips there are some great muck sites to dive.
Bima Bay 2 years ago was incredible, the site we dived 2 years ago was like 3 sites in Lembeh all rolled into one. We didn't dive Bima Bay this last year- my guide said boats have been dropping anchor and messed up the site, so we did more diving off Sangeang/ Sumbawa which has some great muck also. I saw my first and only Rough Snout Ghostpipe fish there and was ecstatic.

Sounds awesome. We've never done any muck diving, but hubby is a very keen UW photographer, so is excited to to give it a go. Thanks so much for replying . Im going to confirm the trip right now.
