You don't have to spend $4k to go diving in Komodo on a liveaboard.

True enough. IMHO the service and experience of the Indo Siren more than justifies the price. When I looked into this trip last year, I found a full range of dive operations including the one where you share crew duties such as cleaning & cooking. That was really cheap. The Indo Siren is definitely top drawer with on board masseuse, exceptional meals and 5 star service. I was lucky to be able to go on this trip but I understand that some cannot or don't want to pay the price for this kind of service.

Tajkd at the end of the day all that matters you had a great time. I have got to return at Full Moon to dive the Cauldron again. The Komodo National Park is Awesome. Really want to dive Raja Ampat as well.
