Hi all,

I am planning an unexpected trip to Bali and have just enough time to go on a 4 day liveaboard in komodo that leaves on the 18th of December.

When I look up the best time to dive Komodo, it says that for the December to March period that the weather can get very windy, with a lot of rain, causing rough surface conditions.

I was wondering if anyone could share their experiences diving Komodo in mid december? Is it that bad? Or still acceptable? If the conditions are as bad as google says I will have to get this trip done on another time. However, I thought that it would have been such a waste not to dive while I am so close to Komodo, so kind of hoping that I can get this trip off my bucket list.

Please share any thoughts about this, happy to read all your comments :) Thanks
