Hi robin,it is very easy to use. You can"t use the zoom in the housing nor switch to the macro mode, so we were really close to the action. This was my second attempt at underwater videography. i shot some videos in similian islands in dec last year with a sony T100 camera . everything was blue beyond 10 meters. These clips were shot at 15 to 18 meters and have better colour. i think the red filter makes a lot of difference. The red filter comes standard with the ikelite housing. The manta clip was taken by a sony camera, just added it as my friends and son wanted me to add the clip. these videos are just for long lasting memories of the good time we all had together. i want to learn video editing and may join a course here soon, time permitting. I am an orthopaedic surgeon by profession. To our amateur eyes the video seems good enough for the price of the equipment. i have just ordered a wide angle lens for the same.Another reason i used the small camera is that i want to master my buoyancy before spending money on bigger and heavier setups. i have just 27 logged dives. i have a canon 7D. should i get a housing for it or invest in a canon or sony camcorder for future dives?
