Does anyone know the dry weight of a Knighthawk with standard inflator (size large if it makes a difference).

I can't find the weight on their web site.

Thanks,

MrConclusion:
I have a size medium at home, but with the AIR2. I will weigh it and post the result if you'd like to see it.

That would be appreciated, thanks.

My size Medium with Air2 is approx. 7 1/2 to 8 lbs. as measured on the bathroom scale. The Large should weigh a little more, but then the Air2 is heavy compared to the standard power inflator.

It's a great BC. We have 3 of them in our household.

Hope this helps.

Thanks, so probably just over 7 lbs for a large without the air 2. I decided on my next set of regs, but the more I read about bc's and bp/wings the more my head hurts. Lots of good reviews on the Knighthawk on the board so it is one I am carefully considering.

I imagine the Large, without Air2 would probably be around 7 1/2-8 lbs., give or take some, but I don't know for sure.

I know what you mean about the headaches from trying to chose which one. I finally just gave up, and bought one of each design for different purposes. KnightHawk for teaching and recreation. BP (backpack)/wing for more technical applications.
