Ok, I know that full face masks and rebreathers have been batted around on some other threads, but I have a CCR unit spacific question.

If diving a KISS CCR with a full face mask, the Kirby Morgan to be spacific, how does one dump excess gas or flush the loop? The instructor I am working with stresses burping gas out past the mouth peice, probably because it is the simplest way to do so on the KISS unit.

Inhale from loop, switch DSV to open circuit, exhale into water.

As a Kiss instructor, I agree with Stefan (caveseeker7) above.
