I'm going to be in Australia for a family Wedding in July. I'll have my two kids with me who are 15 (son, PADI OW) and 10 (daughter, PADI Seal Team). I'm looking for a kid-friendly resort where my son and I can go diving while there are supervised activities to occupy my daughter. We are mobile so location is not an issue, although NE coast would be idea. Thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Australia is a huge country. Where is the wedding and how long are you here?

Not sure if your looking for places like Van Parks or resorts with kids activities, or a day trip to the Reef to suit everyone.
Huge country so you really need to be a bit more specific in where your going.
I based in Cairns which has plenty of kids friendly stuff. If looking at Reef trip look at Reef Magic

Hey all - thanks for the responses. We are planning on being in country for about two weeks. The wedding is a few hours north of Melbourne, but other than that we are mobile. I had thought of Cairns or environs if that specific enough. thanks!

The winter weather gets milder during the few days drive north to Cairns, have a rest do a dive and fly home

But not from Melbourne

a few hours north of Melbourne, is that Canberra or Sydney, Albury-Wodonga VIC-NSW border is about three

Love these maps! And, yeah, aware of the scale. Planning on flying internally. So it sounds like Cairns is the place so any dive resort recs would be welcome.
