Key west snorkeling

I am going on a cruise July 7 and we are heading to key west fl Nassau and Freeport. I plan on snorkel in Freeport and was thinking about doing it in key west. How is it and should I go on the excursion that is with the cruise line which is the fury or should I book with some one else I defiantly want to go to the best spot to snorkel. Thank you for any help

My mom and I just returned from snorkeling in Key West and Key Largo. In Key West we went out with Fury. Apparently all the companies go too the same areas so I wouldn't worry too much about which company you go with. The snorkeling was pretty decent, my mom really enjoyed it. I've snorkeled in Indonesia (arguably the best place on earth to snorkel), and Key West was not nearly as amazing. Don't get me wrong though, lots of great stuff out there and I enjoyed it thoroughly! If you have the time definitely don't miss out on the opportunity!
