Are there any reefs reachable from shore for scuba/snorkeling for lion fish or lobsters? Thanks....newbie here with a lot of questions, some maybe dumb but plz excuse me

Not really.

Technically you COULD reach the reef from shore....if you want to swim a few miles each way.

No BS though, there are distance limits in FL from public beaches, boat ramps, canals etc...where bugging and spearing are prohibited...it’s all on the FWC site.

That being said, you could conceivably swim that distance from shore, look for the few patches of coral for bugs, or hunt the edges of the turtle grass beds for them. Honestly not worth the effort in my opinion.
Some folks kayak out into hawks channel and dive from there...personally I don’t feel like getting creamed by a boat.

Thank you for the good information. I would love to be able to scuba or snorkel for lobster or lion fish. New to ocean hunting so I’m trying to learn the ins and outs of it. I’ll get my Fla fishing license in case I get a chance at some bugs or game fish. Will use a pole spear till I get better with my diving,
