Hi,

We are going to Key West towards the end of April and are doing two days of diving on the Vandy. We are looking to do one more dive day on a reef. We are trying to decide if we should dive with the Key West operator we are using for the wreck dive or if we should go and dive the Looe Key reef. Any thoughts and suggestions would be great and appreciated. We did do a reef dive in Key West a long time ago and were not impressed with the reef but maybe things have changed or the operator we used back then just took us to a bad reef.

Thanks!

Go to Looe key

Local dive operators do not go to good reefs. Except Finz. They will take you to a good reef, but you have to ask ahead of time where they are going. If they are going way west of town, you will have great reef dives. Everything from sand key east is smothered by cruise ship silt.
