Key West Aug 27-30, hotel suggestions plz!

Can try Galleon resort on Front st. I have a time share there. Walk to Mallory square and duval st easy. Dive Captain corners walk to boat. Can dive southpoint as well, easy walk as its boat is next door. Do not get room in "G" building. My unit is in "C" building, outside deck faces Gulf of Mexico best sunsets. Can try southernmost hotel but will need car or taxi to get around.

Many a lost evening at the Sunset Tiki avoiding the tourists at Mallory Square. Best sunset on the island, and happy hour to boot.

Is the Fairfield Marriott on Roosevelt(west side) of the island in a good area?

You have a military base on one side, Home Depot on the other, and a Publix and strip mall across the street. Dive Key West is within walking distance.
