I would like to visit in Mid June 2003 and have four people in my party.

My first choice would be a 2 bed room condo. The only item I have seen posted here (about condos) was by Herman for Franks.

For those who know, where would you recommend staying. I don't mind staying the week if I needed to due to week only rules at some sites.

Thanks for your help.

Ocean Pointe Suites has decent rooms. 1 or 2 bedroom condos, both with sofabed. I've been there twice. 5 days each time. There was a special.... around 100.00/night for a 2br. Search by their name...they have a site. The prices on the site are higher... I'll try and find the site I used for the discount if it looks good to you.

They are slightly south of Key Largo..... around MM 90, I think.

Rax,

I wish I at least saw your place when we were there. Camping was a lot of fun but...

Rax,

just to clarify....it's not "my place" in the sense that I own one of the units... We just have stayed there twice.

I just did a quick search for rates in June, and it looks like 165.00/night... I went last june and it was 109.00/night. I'm guessing the rates will drop as we get closer to that date, and they still have empty units.

I think the site is: www.oceanpointesuites.com

Yes, I didn't mean to say Rax owned it. He rented a condo from this place the same week I camped with a bunch of other people.

Rax is definately not marketing something to benefit him personally. It seems he found a nice, convenient, and inexpensive place to lodge in Key Largo. A good recommendation.
