Diver’s Paradise, Diver's Paradise Miami | Scuba Diving & Snorkeling
Key Biscayne just off of Miami

This was my first time diving this area. Diver’s Paradise (DP) is conveniently located at the Crandon Marina which is on the right shortly after driving onto Key Biscayne. The shop is right at the marina with two boats right across the street. The sites, both shallow, were a very short 20-25 min boat ride from the marina.

DP ran a safe, enjoyable trip. We were on Sea Señora with Capt Eric and crew Riley & Mike. Seas were 1-2’ (mostly 1’ and less), zero current, 40-50’ viz and 81-82 F temps.

Neptune Memorial Reef
Neptune Memorial Reef - Cremation Scattering Services Miami, Fl
43’ max depth, 35’ avg
60 min dive

Emerald Reef
27’ max depth, 22’ avg
46 min dive

I’ll post a few photos below.

The only negatives for me were:
(1) Having to drive through the heart of Miami going to/from Key Biscayne the Friday before Memorial Day Weekend. The strong afternoon storms coming home didn't help the traffic situation! Took me an hour longer driving back to SWFL due to storms and holiday traffic leaving SEFL and heading west.
(2) Our second dive was limited by time due to a 2 pm trip departure and the need to get back.

Neither were a huge deal and I will dive this area again with DP. I’d like to hit some of the wrecks in this area. There are many!

Great photos ! We were blown out of visiting the Neptune reef 3 weeks ago, but that's ALOT of sand on the bottom edge pavilions covering up markers. In past visits to Neptune, we combined it with the Ophelia Brian Wreck which is full of life and close by so its a deep then shallow 2 tanker. The Miami reefs are a fun area that are different that the Palm Beach & Key Largo reefs and a great change of pace,,but not many lobsters nor lionfish. Thanks for the report!

Thanks for the trip report i've always wanted to dive neptune
