There's 3 visitor spots you don't need a parking pass for around the corner in a parking lot.
The area kinda smells like sewage but you can gear up on some concrete blocks near it.

You don't need one. There are 4 or 5 guest parking spots on the South West corner of the lot that rarely all get used.

Yeah, and the laws change since then.
park in the free designated spots, there is 4 or 5 of them.

We were going to dive there the other day, however the poo smell was terrible and the construction made dropping off equipment a hassle. We continued on to Porteau.

No, the air just kinda stinks by the bathrooms.

Dove there tonight (Thu) and it was ok. There was a light wind which cleared the air, so other than a bit of smell as we were passing the septic tank, things were fine.
