I'm 73 years old with some mobility issues, and now need some help hauling gear and getting out of the water. However, I'm still diving! Once in the water, I feel like a 20 yr.old-------maybe better because of experience. For anyone that has not experienced the Calif. channel Islands underwater ,I highly recommend it. When I'm exploring a kelp forest I feel like a 9 year old kid! And then when the sealions come on down to play------- more fun than any 73 yr. old should be allowed!

Glad you found us. It's nice to see that you are active in the sport. It makes us all feel younger.

Excellent post!

I get my inspiration from those older than I that are still active. I hope I'm as active as you at 73.

The real problem that I see here is that you retired guys are gonna use up all the fun before I get there. Ration it just a bit please Mariner.

I'm headed back to the Channel Islands Friday - to go out on The Great Escape. My first liveaboard.
