vests basically let you inflate them with air, so that you can float at the surface or
not be so heavy at depth
the thicker the wetsuit, the warmer they keep you
all the regulators do the same thing, which is to regulate air under pressure
(in your tank) to the ambient pressure (at whatever depth you happen to be
at) so that you can breathe it safely
i would join Don in pointing you to our forums and also the Search command. you'll
find a wealth of info on here
