Hello,
Just got my netpune II with:
Surface air valve
NIRA/hose quick connection
GSM DAT w/mic
Neptune Adjustable Communication Support
"PolarTex" strap
etc....
First off I payed under $900 for everything from my LDS (thanks Joe at SOD!)
Ran the first test in a pool today and found that:
Vis is Great!!!
Ease of putting on and off good.
Clearing work fine for me (never had probs clearing just buy blowing out my nose hard).
Confort: ok
Com works ok to well in pool (but not even close to the audio in the video).
Now for the reg and breathing... takes some getting used to!
So I mounted my Mares abyss (witch I thing is great!) to see if it
gets better... well not much. So I am thinking it is more the build type of the mask that makes the breathing not so hot.
Surface air valve works good/easy to use.
"PolarTex" strap is sure alot better then that rubber thing that comes with the mask.
Neptune Adjustable Communication Support mount... sorry but sucks! Who ever came up with its design was on crack that day.
The plastic is to hard to bend so it cracks and breaks. I am going
to make one of my own from hard flex rubber that will last more then 5 dives.
All in all think I did NOT toss my money out the window.
But I am just a hobby diver and don't dive every day for a living.
I am NOT going to trash my mask and reg. for a FFM.
