Well ....I really have wanted to try Scuba for a long time..!
I was just going to jump into the coarse but...I got a little nervous
I have been reading scubaboard for a while"lurking" trying to learn.
I had read all the stories of not being able to breath through the Reg.
So i thought I better try Discover Scuba..Last Friday was my 41st
birthday so Saturday morning I did it!!! There was no fear!!!'
It was one of the best mornings of my life , Totally relaxing,I can
still hear the sound of the regulator!!
April ...confined OW
May......OW
I'm going to see a Shipwreck some day...Very excited!!!

Welcome to Scubaboard and I hope you love every minute of your diving adventure. Where in Ontario are you located?

Welcome, Wingnut and have fun on your course. There are a lot of great shipwrecks in the St. Lawrence River to enjoy. I started diving when I was 40 and wished I did it earlier.

Welcome, wingnut. Hope you enjoy diving around here for many years. It's great you're getting trained locally. It's not uncommon for people trained in warmer waters to never get comfortable enough to enjoy the unique UW sights to be seen around here (lots of great wrecks, including probably the best preserved collection of old ones and wooden ones in the world). Did you do your Discover Scuba session around here in a pool, too?
