Been sitting here watching the temps head way south of 0, yeah thats right 20-30 degrees F below 0 since I've gotten home. While cruising Florida, sunshine state my patootie!!!, weather turned for the worst during my travels and stay. Thought about heading back to the Keys or Ft. Lauderdale, from the Lake Placid, FL area to give it another whirl, but alas another cold front moved in!! REALLY???? Hell with it, I'll go home and dive!! Here at home because of the cold extremes you will need a chainsaw with a 24" bar to get through the ice, not to mention it will probably freeze shut almost immediately! I can't dive in a tub as I have a shower only unit! So here is the thought, I still have a bunch of free flights coming and some free car rentals, along with free hotels, so who or whom do I curse with my presence??? I met some really nice people, Scuba_Jenny, NetDoc, mselenaeous, so I would like to spare them and their surrounding locals!! Any good diving around Tampa or Jacksonville? Better yet the ultimate test, maybe the Bahama's, Cayman's, who knows. I'll let you know what I decide. Another option is sell the gear and go to Vegas!! Yeah like that'll happen!!
