Go for the 2 weeks ... as an instuctor on a live-aboard in Palau .. we dove on nitrox 3-5 times a day .... As long as you have fresh sites to dive everyday ... i suggest going for the 2 weeks ... Get your diving fix all at one time .. and take loads of pictures ...You will sleep like a baby and eat like a horse ... Diving is Living ... James

Smartest thing I did was take two wetsuits - then you are always getting in to a dry one. Keeps you a lot warmer - which is what most of the "tired" comes from. Keeping your core temp up. Second the take one bathing suit for each dive you plan for the day. Same reason.

I did a week-long liveaboard in Australia this summer, four dives a day (at least) on air (even though I'm Nitrox certified), and I was absolutely fine. Had I not made fantastic friends with the crew, I would have gotten even more sleep, but seriously, not a problem at all. I say do it. Liveaboards basically rock and you can always sleep when you get home.

I love liveaboards, do at least one a year. I'd love to do two weeks! Being tired isn't a problem for me. But I find that by the end of one week my ears are clearing a lot slower than usual, with little "squeaky" protest noises. If I were to do 2 weeks I would probably dive more conservatively - not hit EVERY dive the way I do in 1 week.
